St. Patty's Day

The boys woke up to discover the leprechauns had left footprints leading into the kitchen...straight to a box of leprechaun cereal--Lucky Charms! This truly is a treat as I only buy this cereal for March 17th. They thought it was the best thing ever.

I told the boys to stand close and put their arms around each other. This is what I got!

I tried a new idea this year--rainbow pancakes! The boys were thrilled! We made each color of the rainbow and put a pot of gold (syrup) under the rainbow. If I would have had some shredded hash browns I would made "clouds" on each end. Something for next year...

 So excited!

Dylan ate every single one! Keaton ate about three of them. Yummy.

After pancakes we got ready for haircuts! I wanted to get a picture of me and the boys but by the time we got home it was lunch and naps. Then I had to head into work. =(

I did get a picture of this funny boy! He found his hat, one glove, one sock and Dad's sandals. He came walking in the kitchen to show me! I started laughing and had to make a run for my camera. What a crack up!

St. Patty's Photo Session

 "Mom's Lucky Charm"

 Kisses for brother

They are growing so fast and getting so big! I can't believe Keats will be 2 in just a couple of months. He is not a baby anymore, and it makes me a little sad.

I love these photos with them standing together.

 Ok, Mom. One more photo!

And Keaton finally finds his pockets!

I took the boys to the park on Saturday. Will had to go to our lot and spray for weeds, so it was just me and my boys. Keaton has NO fear! This slide was big and fast and he LOVED it!

My big boy swinging away!
What a fun day.

Dylan Turns 4!

Dylan opened a few presents the day before his birthday. He received some new trains and more tracks from G and G Bogdanoff

You can tell how excited he was opening each package and finding another train!

He also got his very own camera and he can take some pretty decent pictures! He LOVES it!

He wanted a Little Einstein party this year and I had the worst time finding decorations, invitation, plates, napkins, etc. I think it was popular a few years back because all the sites said everything was out of stock. So we had to be creative! I ordered him this shirt which made his day! He loved wearing it out and about on his birthday. We got all dressed up and started the morning at Blue Sky Bagels. We had some yummy bagels, juice/coffee and made our plans for our fun day!

We decided we better head home to start baking the cupcakes for daycare tomorrow. We let them cool when we went to lunch and then came home and decorated them. He wanted rainbow chip for daycare and we thought it would be neat to add the #4 to each one!

Dylan wanted to go to Chili's for lunch! We invited my mom to go with us, and Dylan was so excited when the waiter knew it was his birthday (thanks to the shirt he was wearing) and brought him a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup!

He had to bring his camera along to capture some shots! He had to make sure to get some photos of the vents in the ceiling. He was very serious about this!

Keaton was content eating chips and salsa. This is the only thing he wanted!

We had to make our own decorations so I wrote a part of the theme song on paper and attached the characters.

 My two boys

 Photo time with Dad

 Photos with Mom

I can't believe it has been 4 years! Wow. I had to grab him at 8:13 pm, the minute he was born 4 years ago. I hugged him and told him how special he was and how grateful I am that he is a part of this family. He held me tight and listened. Why are birthdays so emotional?

My magnetic sign~I use this for everything!

 Dylan's rocket cake and

 banner!

Dylan got the perfect gifts this year. Everyone knows him so well!
He received this lunch box from his cousin Jilly and it was filled with a ton of art supplies! He loves doing art projects!

We will have a lot of fun with all of this!

 Golf game from Jilly too!

Christy had asked Dylan what he wanted for his birthday...a few days prior to this phone call Dylan and Keaton had used Fruit Loops at daycare for a Valentine's project. I was there to pick them up and my kids were stuffing the Fruit Loops into their mouth! You could tell which mom doesn't buy their kids fun cereal! So...when Christy asked what he wanted he immediately responded with "Fruit Loops!" He had an iron grip on the cereal box!

Opening a scooter from G and G Pemberton and

 more art supplies!

 Such a happy boy!

The grand finale....a shiny red bike from Mom and Dad!

I don't think he could smile any bigger!

Keaton had to test out the scooter before it was totally put together.

Now we are ready for some warm weather!

Dylan and Keaton were SO excited to meet their new cousin, Jaycie Grace

By far one of the hardest cakes I have made for one of my boys' birthdays...but the look on his face was so worth it!

 "Happy Birthday to you!"

He blew out all four candles in one blow!

Eating cake and ice cream. He picked a strawberry flavored mix this year.

It made Dylan's night to hold Jaycie.

He talked to her so sweetly and showed her his stuffed animals and toys. Keaton kept saying "baby" and wanted to touch her. Thank you to everyone for making Dylan's birthday so special. And even to family that couldn't be here...Dylan loved the phone calls from G and G Bogdanoff, Auntie Nicole, Aunt Cherie and even cousin Jillian!!! It made him feel so special.
